With the new prisma VENT ventilation and monitoring devices, we are turning the future into reality.
That’s obvious at first glance – and beneficial with every use. Users love the devices’ simple operation and the no-adapter- required compatibility with heated and unheated hoses with diameters from 15 to 22 mm.
The integrated power unit reliably supplies energy to additional devices. The optionally available rechargeable battery can operate devices for up to 12 hours. The unusually lightweight prisma VENT is equipped with the largest display we have ever built into a ventilator in this class. Not least of all, the optimized menu navigation makes prisma VENT the perfect solution for state-of-the-art ventilation and monitoring for patients in hospital and in homecare.
The new prisma VENT30 turns the future into reality now. Users appreciate the simple operation and the no-adapter-required compatibility with the accessories from the prismaLINE. The complete set of ventilation modes and pressures up to 30hPa make flexible usage possible even under changing conditions. The functions AIr Trap Control, Trigger lockout and the expiratory ramp ensure safety and comfort in ventilation of COPD patients. Integrated graphic elements offer useful information at all times so that every parameter can be set correctly.
prisma VENT40 now offers safety and even more flexibility. Thanks to a broad pressure range of up to 40 hPa and volume compensation, the device is suitable for treatment of a wide spectrum of disorders. Both prisma VENT30 and prisma VENT40 come with complete alarm management, integrated power supply unit, and an optional internal rechargeable battery with a 12-hour operating capacity. These features make prismaVENT easy to transport for safe use anywhere.
As with prismaVENT30 and prisma VENT40, prisma VENT50 ventilates patients via a leakage circuit and additionally via a disposable system with patient valve. Other functions and features in prisma VENT50 include a larger pressure range up to 50 hPa, pressure- and volume-controlled mouthpiece ventilation modes (MPVp and MPVv) and LIAM (Lung Insufflation Assist Maneuver) for cough support and secretion management. With these enhancements to the previous prisma devices, an even broader spectrum of diseases can be treated with the prisma VENT50. The new device is equipped with a complete alarm management system, integrated power supply unit and a rechargeable battery with a capacity of up to 12 hours.
The prisma VENT50-C ventilator is equipped with High-Flow Therapy (HFT) mode in addition to all the other features available in prisma VENT50.
In HFT mode the device provides a constant flow of five to 60 liters per minute. An oxygen feed also can be added. The flow of air is heated and humidified (for example, with prisma VENT AQUA) and delivered to the patient via a nasal cannula. The patient interface comes in different sizes for non-invasive use. A different interface is available for invasive application.
The prisma VENT50-C also may be used with a single tube with patient valve and with other tube systems with nasal cannula for High-Flow Therapy.
The high-performance humidifier prismaAQUA is intended for use with prismaVENT, premium devices for sleep therapy from Löwenstein Medical. With convenient pre-heating function and optional heated breathing tube.
